This steel target hanger is a simple and effective way to hang steel targets. The hanger is one formed piece of 1/4" AR500 steel and is strong enough to take direct hits from many pistols and some rifle rounds which makes it a great alternative to bolts. Simply drop the hanger over your wooden post at the desired height and secure it in place with the supplied handle bolt - no tools required. Our slotted hole targets lock onto the hanger so they will not fall off. Turn the target 90°, slide over the peg, then turn it back upright and you're done. Use this hardware package to hang your Drummond Shooting gong. Insert the carriage bolts through the square holes on your gong, place one end of the chains over carriage bolts, followed by washers and then nuts. Connect the other ends of the chain to your stand. This pack includes chain, carriage bolts, nuts and washers. Note: AR 450 and AR 500 refer to hardware sizes to match gongs. These are not AR components and can be damaged by direct hits depending on ammunition. -
If you've managed to shoot off your carriage bolts and are left hanging lopsided, consider picking up these replacement bolts. Since it is less common to see wear on the nuts and washers on the back side of your targets, you're getting only what you need to keep your targets hanging and ready for the range.
